Employment Provisions in the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)
On March 18, 2020, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) was signed into law, which requires employers to provide employees with paid FMLA and sick time under certain circumstances. On April 6, 2020, the Department of Labor promulgated temporary regulations to implement emergency FMLA and sick leave under FFCRA.
